Voters in the recent Beverly Hills city council elections had the choice of ballots in English, Spanish.....and Farsi?!? Why in the world do we need ballots printed in Farsi?
Click on the title to read the article. It is mostly about the importance of "Americanizing" immigrants and the necessity of knowing English to become a citizen, but I just could not get over the idea of ballots in Farsi!
