I am heading downstairs in case things get worse with this storm.

As an ex-ELCA now LCMS member I'm watching the webcast today, hanging on every word. I've very interested in seeing Kieschnick's reaction, and found it interesting to see Gary "I Am The Holy Spirit" Wollersheim, bishop of the Northern Illinois District of the ELCA speak. He's the one who bounced me out of the ELCA.
I just discovered the "blog" and think this is a cool thing.
Anyway, after Wollershiem drove me out of Illinois I colloquized into LCMS. I'd say I have relative peace after three years of fighting pastors and DPs. I find that LCMS lutherans can be very suspicious of "converts". I also don't like how Kieschnick is trying to transform LCMS into a more baptist/pentecostal church.
But, watching the webcast today doesn't make me miss ELCA at all. I've forgotten about the sloppy theology taught and confessed in the church. I especially wonder if the lay delegates have ever picked up a catechism...

Try this link to the ELCA page that has the voting results:

... I, too, am hanging on every word. This is exhausting trying to sort it all out.

Hi Dennis,
Keschnick did speak today, but I missed it. He did have to speak with the rainbow sashed protesters standing in front of him.
